Member of Organic Farming Steering Group for Wales B.O.B.L. Former Chairman of Llandysul Community Council. Chairman of Siop Dewi community shop. Former Director of Teifi River Trust. Pioneering renewable energy in the locality. Member of local church.
Cllr Keith Evans (Vice chairman)
A fluent bilingual speaker. Retired in 2012 from his business after 41 years of successful trading as marquee hire providers, employing some 20 staff during peak periods of the season.
Held the following positions: Former Leader of Ceredigion County Council, High Sheriff of Dyfed, Member of the Development Board for Rural Wales, Member of the Sports Council of Wales, Director of Ryder Cup Wales. Council Member Aberystwyth University, Promotion and Development officer with Welsh Language Commissioner. Councillor of 35 years, School Governor, Trustee and Deacon of Carmel Congregational Chapel, supporter and member of many local organizations
Richard Davies (Treasurer)
Retired Bank manager who is highly active within the local community and holds several treasurerships which include the Llandysul Parochial Church Council [six churches] and Clwb Croeso Llandysul which is a busy senior citizens organization and in which he also plays a leading administrative role. Takes an extremely keen interest in the daily routine operation of Llandysul and Pont Tyweli Ymlaen with emphasis on the financial aspect, producing quarterly reports as well as reporting monthly to his fellow directors at the Board meetings.
Lesley Parker (Company Secretary)
BA (Hons) Cartography & Town Planning, Oxford Brookes University, 1995.
Company Secretary, part owner, software developer at The Solutions Factory Ltd, a software development company, employing 4 members of staff.
Manages the LLPY website, associated social media platforms, digital marketing.
Chairman of Llandysul Library Supporters’ Group. Secretary of Llandysul & District Local History Society. Interested in renewable energy, owns a solar power plant, since 2011 and driving an electric car since 2015.
Marion Bryant MBE
Retired in 1996 after serving 33 years as senior legal clerk in a local solicitor’s practice. Has been involved as a volunteer in local community all her life, but especially with young people. Has been a guide leader and later as a Scouting leader. A founder Director of the local Canoe Centre who attracts over 20,000 visitors a year to Llandysul.
Assisted international Youth Groups on their visits to Llandysul. Been awarded the Chief Scout’s personal gift of the Silver Wolf in 2005 (highest Scouting award as leader) also presented with the M.B.E. in the same year (for services to young people) this award came through community nominations. Also awarded the Community Award from the Llandysul Community Council for services to the community. A keen supporter of all that happens in the community.

Retired Tourism Manager for Carmarthenshire County Council managing 8 staff and control of a budget of £400,000 and responsibility for several grant projects.

Community Pharmacist with over 37 years’ experience, including running own independent community pharmacy in Llandysul from 1984-2008. Now working as locum pharmacist in the West Wales area.
Been involved with various Pharmacy bodies on local, Wales and UK level, having been a representative on the Pharmacy Contractor Committee in Wales as well as the Board of the National Pharmacy Association as a representative of Welsh Pharmacy Owners on the National Board covering GB.
Since 2007, been a member of the Welsh Pharmacy of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and currently Vice Chair in Wales.as well as a Welsh representative on the Assembly of RPS covering Wales, England and Scotland.
Experienced on financial committees at both Wales and UK level, currently on Audit and Risk Committee of RPS.
Mari Slaymaker BA (Hons)
Studied Georgraphy, Mathematices and Tourism Management, Swansea University and University of Wales Trinity Saint David.
PGCE (professional), Coleg Sir Gâr.
Complete mnay course in Hairdressing, Barbering, Beauty, Complementary Therapies and Sport Massage Therapy.
Born again Christian and an active member of a local Evengelical Chapel.
Fluent bilingual speaker, first langauge Welsh.
Establish a new business in Llandysul, June 2014 "Barbwr Llandysul Barber" and a tanning Studio in Septemer 2016.
Prior to that, worked in the financial industry for four years. Worked at the PR & Events department, Welsh Assembly.
Volunteer with The Smile Foundation in Romania since 2003.
