Huge congratulations to Roy Davies on being named Volunteer of the Year at the West Wales Regional Partnership Awards, recently held at Pentre Awel in Llanelli.

Roy is a hugely dedicated volunteer who gives an enormous amount of his time helping others. He volunteers with Dolen Teifi / Ar y Ffordd and also with the Burns Foundation, supporting people to access transport and essential services within their communities.

His wife Gwen often supports him as well, regularly helping out when needed, and together they make a fantastic contribution to the community.

This award is a very well-deserved recognition of Roy’s commitment, kindness and the many hours he has given through volunteering over the years.

Congratulations Roy – you truly deserve this award and we are all extremely proud of you.
